Portland lies at the confluence of two rivers, the Willamette and the Columbia. The city is also named the “Bridge City”, because of 12 bridges that cross the Willamette River. It is about 70 miles far from the Pacific coast. The population is about 700,000. The scenery is beautiful and you can see many hills, rivers, and mountains.
