The office staff were also polite and reassuring that they would handle everything that needed to be done, which calmed me in an indescribable way - I appreciate they empathized with me. They even safely stored all my stuff for a few weeks while my new house was being readied for me to move into it. Then all my things arrived at the new house when promised! When it comes to moving something as expensive as an (almost) new car, I was a little nervous about finding the right company. I made a few calls and got a few quotes. I found a few other options, some slightly cheaper and other slightly more expensive, although there wasn't much of a difference. However, Trico was definitely the one that provided the most accurate and precise information about the process. In addition, the whole process was very smooth. We got in contact with the driver of the truck that carried my car the day before the pickup, and after that, we kept in contact with him (the same driver made the delivery). The only (very small) issue is that the driver could not pick up the car at my address, differently from what I had initially understood, because of the large truck (which actually made sense), and so I had to drive to a parking lot of a supermarket nearby and take a Lyft back. However, Trico reimbursed me the cost of the Lyft ride. Overall, the service was superb, and I highly recommend it. read less

Their rep Patrick called me after I requested a quote and went over all the details and made an inventory of everything I was moving. I couldn't even get the other companies to call me back! The price they quote is all inclusive, it barely changed from the estimate to final price. If I had any questions, Patrick emailed or called me back in a timely manner. The team of movers packed everything beautifully (and I mean wrapped in blankets and then packed in boxes). I had a lot of large art work, mirrors, and antique furniture that they made boxes for. They communicated well, they treated my belongings like their own, the process they have in place was top notch. I was comfortable enough with this company that I even left at one point during the packing session and couldn't be there on the receiving end, so I had a friend let them in to deliver. There was NO doubt in my mind that everything would be there, in great shape and accounted for.

I hope I never have to do a long distance move ever again due to the other stresses that go with a move- but if I do find myself in that situation, I will 100% use this company again as that will be one less thing to worry about.
