Houston is also a highly diverse city when it comes to its population – more precisely, it ranks as the most diverse city in the state of Texas. Being such a multicultural metropolis, Houston is a place where many immigrants have found their shelter. Due to that, today, more than 90 languages are spoken in Houston, and the number of foreign-born people living there is continually growing.
As for the weather, Houston has a humid subtropical climate, so hot and humid summers are something you will have to get used to once you move there. Winters are usually mild or only cool.
